Very nice location and the owners were always ready if there was a problem.

It was a fantastic experience. We were greeted by the most friendly host couple who communicated well with us in English and who showed us around the house and gave us instructions on how everything worked. The host gave us good tips and links to shopping, restaurants, beaches, sights, etc. The place was really nice and everything about the house, the pool and the garden had been put to good use. Something has really been done to make it a wonderful experience for all the senses. There really was the most beautiful view at all hours of the day both from the pool, the house and not least from the spa until the sunset.

Great apartment in an equally great place! Truly a fairytale in northern Tuscany.

Already been a guest at Villa Pavone twice and both times enjoyed the hospitality, the accommodation, the beautiful swimming pool and the breathtakingly beautiful view. The apartments are nicely decorated and super clean. Within walking distance you will find a small supermarket, a cozy bar and a good restaurant. You don’t need more, an absolute must.

Arie and Annemiek are very sweet people who make sure that you lack nothing. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and a beautiful view of the valley. The pool is super clean. A small supermarket with fresh bread rolls every morning is a minute’s walk away, Bar Roma is a short distance away where you can go for a snack or a drink at any time of the day.

A Slice of Tuscan Paradise.Tuscany’s finest apartments, nestled in a charming and picturesque small village, was an absolute joy to experience. Its location provides an ideal balance of convenience and tranquility, with a supermarket just a stone’s throw away and a delightful local bar and restaurant adding to the tapestry of the area.The jewel in the crown of this location, however, is undoubtedly the beautiful swimming pool. Framed by stunning landscapes and offering a serene escape from the summer heat, it’s a place where time seems to slow and worries slip away.Yet, it’s the hospitality that truly sets this location apart. The owners are not merely hosts but friends, their warm and engaging manner making you feel at home from the moment you step through the door. Their attention to detail is second to none, and they were always on hand to ensure our needs were met.If you’re looking for a Tuscan escape that marries convenience, comfort, and authentic Italian (& Dutch) hospitality, then this location ticks all the boxes. I can’t recommend it enough and am already looking forward to my next visit.

This wonderful recently opened and renovated accommodation is excellent is every aspect. The apartment we stayed in was very spacious, clean and contained all amenities you can wish for.The newly placed pool in the yard was simply amazing. At 5 x 12 meter this is not your average bath tub, but a pool you can have an actual swim in if you’re the swimming type. The water is practically free of chlorine (the pool is equipped with an ion-exchange pump) which makes swimming in the pool an absolutely delight.The hosts are amazing. Arie and Annemieke are always available to assist you. If you want recommendations on place to go or if you want a restaurant reservation nearby; they are the ones to go to.The village is close to the Apuan alpes (hikers paradise) but also close to some of the most beautiful Italian cities like Pisa and (especially) Lucca.I expect this place to improve in further in the months to come and recommend the place for everyone who wants a great vacation in Tuscany.

Hidden Gem in the beautiful mountains of Tuscany. Lovely hosts and a spotless apartment with comfortable bed. All amenities present. And a pool to cool off! Lots of beautiful, historical places to visit nearby and some delicious restaurants to eat pizza. Only 30 minutes to Lucca. Would definitely recommend this place, very pleasantly surprised!

Absolutelly fantastic place and highly recommended!Our Place is being run by Arie and Annemieke, a very nice couple who speak Dutch, English and German.The place has the best views of the surrounding mountains and villages you can imagine, just breathtaking. The apartment we stayed in was on ground floor “attached” to the main building. It has a fully equipped kitchen (no stove, but there is a microwave), a bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. All spotless clean. The private terrace has a table with chairs and two sunloungers.50 metres from the house there`s a small shop where you can get basic food supplies (for wider choice of food and drinks go to Fresco down in Piano di Coreglia) and a pharmacy. There`s a few restaurants within walking distance – we highly recommend Da Castruccio with its roof-top terrace (wide choice, reasonable prices – their seafood and pizzas are top!).You need a car to get there. Various car navis show confusing routes to Our Place so here´s our advice: first get to Piano di Coreglia, and at the centre of town take a turn to road SP38 (Via di Coreglia). If you stay at Our Place for a few days and want to make trips to local attractions we highly recommend the Carrara marble quarries (it`s a must – book a tour with local operator), Vagli Lake and the town of Lucca (a town with a soul).
